For the first episode of the second coming of Irreligiosophy, join Matt and Chuck as we tackle William Lane Craig’s arguments for the central claims of Christianity: the empty tomb and resurrection. I am willing to grant for the sake of argument that Jesus’s tomb was as empty as my rectal vault after a combo burrito from Pancho’s, but as we find out, the existence of an empty tomb does not necessarily lead to a conclusion of resurrection.

All right, who told ptah we were on the air again?
Come now, nobody needs to be told.
The release of a new episode is as if millions of Grant Gardners suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.
I like how the commenting system turns some of the comments into beat poems.
The Dec 9th episode of The Bible Geek has Dr. Price reading Lena Einhorn’s paper “Jesus and the Egyptian Prophet,” which was interesting, and offers some good explanations for some of the weird contradictions in the New Testament.
In response to this episode, arguments like this bug me because they presuppose that Jesus qua Jesus Christ was a historical person. Grrr. First, guys like Craig have to convince me that his Jesus existed, and that isn’t happening any time soon.
Man it sucks that Leighton was such a douche, this Matt guy is very boring and its almost painful listening to Chuck force himself to laugh at his lame jokes.
I disagree…me. I think Matt is a bit more productive in his conversations than Leighton’s attempt at “shock” and “disgust”. Chuck remains however the funniest of all three.
I hear you….me. Matt may be a bit more productive but thats negligible considering that mostly what he does is respond to Chuck with lame jokes. Much like Leighton, but he occasionally did a bit of research and has an interesting Mormon backstory.
Chuck’s clearly the funniest, and knows freaking everything.
I would love to see him involved in more debates, guys great at it.
