2.42: The Enlightenment and Founding Fathers, Part 1

Well it’s that time again, time for our semiannual podcast. This time it’s on the Founding Fathers, and to provide some background, we give a brief overview of the Enlightenment as well. Need some ammo against Christians who portray the founders of the US government as evangelicals? Ever been told that the US is a “Christian nation?”

Well, that’s all true, unfortunately. The Christians hit the nail on the head yet again.

Hey! That wasn’t nearly as boring as I thought it would be… In fact it was kinda interesting!

    “No paine , no gain”

    ~ Thomas Paine

  2. Re. Steve Harvey… If steve harvet limited his comments to what he understood, he would never speak sgain.

  3. So Franklin thought that Christ’s message, correctly interpreted and translated, was superior. Clearly he was a Mormon.

The podcast founding fathers, had me thinking of ‘The Late War….’ by Gilbert Hunt. How Tecumseh at Moravian Town parallels Morianton killing Teancum. Also the Alma 10:6 reference to the 4th of July. It’s a favourite of mine, much overlooked when discrediting the Book of Mormon.

The Quiverfull Movement seeks to completely take over the government to “restore” it to Christianity. If you want something scary, look up “Dominionism”.
